Carefully nick or abrade a small portion of the coat without damaging the embryo. 2. Soak scarified seeds in room-temperature water for approximately 12–24 hours. 3. Plant approximately 1 inch deep in a well-draining growing medium. 4. Keep the growing medium consistently moist, not waterlogged. 5. Provide warm growing conditions and monitor for germination.
